If I were to ask you: if you could wake up anywhere, where would it be?
My answer is: in Peter's arms. I am not a cuddler when I sleep. I have to have my space, so to wake up in his arms would just be down right AWESOME!
Check out this website One Question for more responses.

Updates...As promised
- Orion is getting HUGE! He weighs in at 27 lbs., 33 in. long. He is already into 2T clothes! I can't believe it!!!
- He is now sayings words like: Cracker, Fire Truck, Bye, No, Done and Don't Touch (complete with him waving his finger as he says it).
- Orion has not been interested in Cartoons or TV until his cousin introduced him to Thomas & Friends. Now anytime we turn on the XBOX he thinks we are turning on "Choo Choo". It's cute to see him so excited and pointing at the TV while make a "sssttt" sound!
- Easter was spent with Peter's family. We had the typical Easter dinner of ham, but to change it up Peter cooked his ribs and as usual they were delish! Orion didn't know what to make of his basket that morning. With a little bit of coaxing he finally pulled out an egg, but once he saw the Thomas & Friends DVD it was over with!
- This is what happens when you drop an iPhone on a cement floor. Yeah! I thought Peter was going to kill me!!!
- Orion pooped in the potty! (I will spare you the vulgar picture, complete with googly eyes, that is now in our 365 album!)
- We've switched Orion to Lactose Free Milk due to the fact that Soy Milk has Estrogens. Since Estrogen is a female hormone...well need i say more?
- If you ask Orion if he is ready for nap/bedtime he will go and stand by his bedroom door and wait to go inside.
- We've started on our spring cleaning. I've already taken 6 boxes to Salvation Army and I have another box ready to go!
- And lastly, we go on vacation in 26 days! YAHOO!!!

You gotta see this! Britain's Got Talent
I heard about Susan Boyle this morning and just had to check her out.
Sorry I couldn't find a video that would post, but trust me you want to check out this Scottish Lass. She floored everyone!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RxPZh4AnWyk
I had goose bumps and was almost in tears from her performance. You can bet that I am going keep my eyes on her!

Many Tears Later...
Let's start off with...Sunday night Peter & I took Orion to the ER.
About 2 months ago we started making the switch from formula to milk. At first we were mixing an ounce of milk in with his formula and gradually increasing it until he was drinking 1 ounce of formula with his milk. He was doing okay until we stopped with the formula all together!
He won't drink milk unless it is warm and only in his bottle. Won't even touch it in a cup! He's stopped sleeping through the night. He is waking up almost every 2-3 hours screaming like he is hurt and he is gassier then ever...poor guy :( Sunday night was the last straw, after 3 hours of him crying non-stop and of course me joining in due to frustration, we decided to take him in.
With that being said, our reason for the ER visit was because we were thinking that the milk is messing with his stomach. Come to find out he has the start of an ear infection in both ears! Well, I am so glad that we caught that but, I just don't think that is what is bothering him for the last month!!! Soooo after speaking with the Dr. he suggested that we try soy milk and at this point I am willing to trying anything!
Tonight will be the first night on soy milk. Let's see how the night goes.

Amber's Mock Graduation Announcement
I was so excited when Amber asked me to make her Graduation Announcements (I got to make Ayla's when she graduated a few years ago also). I wanted to do something that said "Amber" and I think I got it. She LOVES stars!
I used White Daisy Cardstock from Close To My Heart, Stars Cardstock Lace from KI Memories, Ribbon is from American Crafts and of course all the info in printed on Vellum
Well, Amber, what do you think? I'm gonna scoot the saying to the left about 1/4 of an inch, but other then that I like it. Did I get all the info right? Oh, you can put your own pic there. I just pulled this one off your Myspace so it's not the best. I sized mine at 3.5x2.5 but a 4x3 would look just as nice. Your choice!
Any feed back is great!

What a Coincidence!
I turned on the tube today to watch Dora with the kiddos and what is the show about? Volcano's! What a coincidence seeing how Mt. Redoubt had 5 large explosions throughout the night! At midnight last night there was talk of Peter having to close his store, so of course he goes down to help get everything ready and comes back about an hour later saying that the ash is supposed to go right around us so the stores will remain open. Sure enough! The ash went right around us. I was so looking forward to a nice quiet day at home with the hubs and Orion, especially after staying up till after 2 am! All I can say is "It's about time it exploded. It's been toying with our emotions for months now!" Sorry no pics to show since everything happened at night...bummer...but you can go here for the full story.

Orion's St. Patrick's Day "Do"
Orion's hair is getting soooo long, but I am not ready to cut it. He has these cute little curls in the back! Anyways...a couple of weeks ago I gave him a mohawk and sprayed it green. He did so well just sitting there that I figured why not give it a try for St. Patrick's Day! Check out how long it is...
Last night Orion and I went to the Grandparent's house for Corn Beef and Cabbage...YUMMY! (Peter's not to keen for it so he stayed home...more for me anyways!) I really enjoy not have a picky child. Orion will eat just about anything!

Hockey fan/player in the making
Peter and I took Orion to an Aces Hockey game for his birthday. He even sported an Aces jersey for the occasion. I was sure that he would freak out over the crowd yelling, the buzzers or at least the cowbells but they didn't bother him one bit! He actually paid attention to the game, watching the players skate up and down the ice. He even clapped when the crowd clapped! It was so cute!!!

Just a few more pictures...
Okay! I think we know I am not a blogger...
I have been suck a slacker when it comes to blogging! Let's get you updated on the chaos that is known as the Hunter Household.
I started my daycare business at the first of the year. I am lovin' it! I watch 5 kids all under the age of 5. Not all at the same time though! Usually 2-3 kids a days, plus Orion. I always knew that I would have a career that involved children but didn't know what until I had Orion.
Speaking of Orion, he is walking, more like running, and getting into everything! He is becoming quite the vocal little guy with words like: dada, mum, ish (fish), nack (snack), nana (banana), shosss (shoe), jshuice (juice), shisha (auntie tricia) and ba (bottle). I'm sure I probably missed a few. It's quite amazing how he will try to say a word after he has heard us say it!
Has anyone heard of Project 365? It is the "cat's meow" in scrapbooking this year. Well, I learned of it from Becky Higgins Blog but can also be found here http://kitofthemonth.blogspot.com/ I have taken on the task of participating and have found it challenging but very interesting thus far. The concept of the project is to "Preserve a piece of your life every day." I am doing this by taking a picture of anything, literally anything, throughout my day and then journal about it. By the end of the year I will have a Scrapbook!

Orion throwing the pillow down and then himself on top of it. (Humorous to watch)
A banner I made for Valentine's Day
Heart shaped pizza for dinner the night before Valentine's Day
Climbing the stairs at the Grandparent's house
Dancing to the Wicked Tinkers
He refused to let me put his diaper on and get him ready for bed.

I Love Netflix!
To cure our movie watching need Peter and I are trying out netflix. I am LOVIN' it so far! We signed up for the 2 week free trial period which just ended yesterday. We are currently in the 3 at-a-time unlimited plan for $16.99. We are even able to watch them instantly on our TV via our Xbox 360!
So far here's what we/I have watched:
So far here's what we/I have watched:
- Night at the Museum
- Love Comes Softly
- Love's Enduring Promise
- Next
- Becoming Jane
- Ghostbusters
- NCIS: Season 6 (All 17 Episodes)
- CSI Las Vegas: Season 7 (All 24 Episodes)
- James and the Giant Peach
- Ratatouille
- CSI Las Vegas: Season 8 (All 17 Episodes)
- The Other Boleyn Girl
Couting all the episodes that's a total of 67 shows/movies that we have watched. That breaks down to 25 cents each! What a steal!!! Well, techanically all but 6 of those were free! We watched 6 episodes of CSI this morning.
I love how you can put your movies in order of how you want them sent and they are constantly adding new selections. We have a netflix hub right here in Anchorage so we get our movies in a matter of just a few days.
No more theaters, PPV or renting movies for us!

{01.26.09} AT THE MOMENT
Right Now: I am sitting at my dinning room table.
I am wearing: Teal lace tank and heart printed pajama bottoms.
I am hearing: Noggin's "Maggie and the Furious Beast" on the tube and Orion babbling to his toys.
I am thinking: about making Gumbo for dinner.
I am thankful for: being able to work from home (in my pj's).
I am creating: my project 365.
I am going: to the store and bank today and hoping to get Orion's Birth Certificate (I'm such a slacker! He's almost a year old!!!)
I am hoping: that we can get out finances in order...soon!
I am reading: The Tales of Beedle the Bard by J. K. Rowling
One of my favorite things: sleeping in. Which I was able to do all weekend!
A few plans for the rest of the week: Make a Valentine Advent Calendar, Orion's Valentine Shirt and a Valentine's Banner. Also start designing a Valentine card.
